The website renovation process starts with an evaluation of your current site. eBUILD Design can examine the inner workings of your current website and give you an assessment of its strengths and weaknesses and make suggestions for improving it.
When we evaluate your website, we'll be looking for such things as:
- Whether your website is XHTML Compliant so it can be accessed by all browsers and all web-enabled devices such as mobile phones.
Whether there are ways to improve your search engine optimization to make your website more visible in search results.
Whether your website's architecture is user-friendly and easily navigable by your visitors.
Whether there are ways to make your website more easily managed with a content management system.
Whether your website is as secure as it possibly can be to avoid malicious access and catastrophic data loss.
Whether there are additional features which could make your website more powerful.
Those are just a few of the key points we'll be assessing, but there are many more. If we spot any means by which your website could be improved, we'll let you know.
Website Renovation
Once we've completed our evaluation of your current website, we'll send you a Website Evaluation Report with detailed information about the areas in which improvements could be made.
Your Evaluation will let you know how critical each of the proposed upgrades are (website security, for example, being one of the most important and purely cosmetic changes being of lesser concern), along with the estimated cost of each of the upgrades listed.
With that information, it should be easy for you to look at your website budget and decide which of the suggestions you wish made and which are expendible.
