Feature Listing

Archives: For websites which are updated frequently, particularly those upon which news items or articles are posted, we can provide a searchable archive which will allow your users to search through older articles.
Banner Ad Management: If you wish to tap into potential extra revenue by allowing advertising on your website, we can install a feature which will allow you to manage your advertisers' banner ads.
Calendar of Events: If you want your website to include a calendar which displays important events for your visitors to view, we can add a feature which will allow you to easily maintain a list of events and display them within configurable date parameters, with no need to remove outdated items. As an item's date passes, it'll simply not be displayed any longer
Content Management System: A Content Management System (CMS) is a tool used to change website content to keep the information available to visitors up-to-date. eBUILD Design's CMS is a unique and simple to use system which allows you to update your website directly from your website display in your browser, and because it's integrated directly into your website through your own server, you can use it from any computer with an internet connection.

Customer Support: Keeping customers happy is the greatest goal of any business. The availability of an online customer support system can help. eBUILD Design can install a customer support feature on your website which will allow your customers to contact you for support issues by e-mail. With customer support forms requesting only the information you need, your online support feature will streamline your ability to respond, while satisfying your customers at the same time.
Discussion Forum: Whether your website is personal or commercial, a discussion forum can keep it lively. We can create a discussion forum for your website to allow your visitors to join discussions of topics related to your website.
Downloads: With download capability, you'll be able to offer downloadable documents and other files to your website visitors. Use it for calendars, newsletters, or any other documents you may wish to provide.
Feedback Forms: Every website should have one feedback form, one by which your website visitors may contact you. Forms, however, can be used for a number of purposes - subscription services, customer support, registration for members-only areas of your website, or any other purpose for which it might be necessary to gather information from your visitors.
Guestbooks: Add a guestbook feature to your website and you'll be able to find out who's visiting your website. Visitors may "sign" the guestbook, leave a brief message, and offer feedback on how they like your website.
Members Only Area: If you have information you wish to restrict only to certain persons, you'll need a Members Only area. Whether you charge a fee for registration or allow free access, a Members Only area will allow only those website visitors who have a valid username and password to access your restricted area (eBUILD Design uses just such a feature to allow our clients to access certain features of our website).
News/Article Posting: If you wish to offer timely news stories or other articles on your website, you'll be able to post them simply and quickly with this feature. Plus, combined with an Archive area, you'll be able to offer your visitors "back issues" of all such items which have appeared on your website in the past.
Newsletter E-Mail: Perfect for organizations which produce a periodic newsletter, a Newsletter E-Mail feature will allow your visitors to subscribe (through a Feedback Form described above) to your online publications. The Newsletter E-Mail feature will also let you send a copy of your publication to every subscriber with a single click.
Online Shopping Cart: The backbone of any e-commerce site, a shopping cart will allow your online customers to browse through products offered on your website and pick the ones they want before placing their order. No e-commerce site could be complete without a shopping cart feature.
Photo Gallery: Designed to show off your photos, an online photo gallery will allow you to display numerous photographs on a single page, allowing visitors to click a "thumbnail" image of the photo to view it full-sized. Perfect for personal websites for those who like to share photos with family and friends and for those with commercial websites wishing to display images of their staff, special events, or any other photos.
Polls/Surveys: Give your visitors a voice on your website. Include a poll/survey feature on your website and you'll be able to get quick and easy feedback from visitors and keep count of the voting.
Site Search: The most efficient way of allowing your website visitors to find exactly what they're seeking, a site search feature allows visitors to enter a few keywords relating to what they want and search your entire site to find it.
Subscription Services: Used primarly for allowing website visitors to sign up to receive newsletters or announcements via e-mail, a subscription service can be used for a number of purposes. As a business tool, a subscription service can be used to keep your customers informed of sales and special offers, but more importantly, to keep in contact with them so that the next time they need a service you can provide, they'll think of you.
Uploads: If you wish to allow your visitors to upload files to your website for such things as sharing photographs or freeware computer programs, you'll need an upload feature. This feature is also incorporated into our Content Management System to allow our clients to add images and other files to their websites without the need to learn how to use a file transfer program.
Visitor Comments: Largely the result of the popularity of weblogs, visitor comment modules allow your website visitors to post their own comments in response to any information they find on your website. Differing levels of security exist with our comment feature to prevent spam messages and offensive content from being posted, including a setting which hides new comments until approved by you.
Weblog: Weblogs are a sort of online "diary" which allow the website owner to post daily thoughts, news, or other articles for general access to internet surfers. Originally used by individuals, the trend has now expanded to business applications, allowing businesses to post industry news, helpful hints, advice, or other business-related information to attract potential customers.
